KS1 shopping cards and role play

As a teacher I used shopping cards like these all the time but they were even more useful when I was latterly doing supply work and, at the last minute, had to find my own supplies of real coins and things for the children to buy and sell. Cards like these were so much easier than trying to collect together objects to put on every table in an unfamiliar classroom.

Why is it that resources in school are so hard to locate?

There are 6 cards on each A4 sheet. Print them out and laminate the cards for the children to share or, forget the prices and use them with or without other sets as sorting cards, topic words or alphabet cards.
