Tudor Exploration - 15th Century Explorers

Thinking about Christopher Columbus and the discovery of America

336

Columbus is famous for being the first man to ‘discover’ America but, what were his reasons for going there and was he really the first to visit America?

What would it have been like to cross the vast Atlantic Ocean?

What were the new lands like?

What were the main events?

Why is Columbus remembered?
